Many of our couples are planning destination weddings, so we typically host a call or video chat to see if we're a good fit for one another. Services begin with a retainer and signed contract.
Gathering your creative team
You deserve to be surrounded by talented, hard-working professionals on your wedding day, so we help you put together a team that suits your personality, budget & goals.
designing the details
Your wedding day should reflect who you are and showcase your unique love story, so we work closely to find ways to incorporate meaning into each detail of your design to create a memorable, one of a kind experience for you and your guests!
Ongoing communication
We handle the logistics, creating timelines for you and your wedding party, communicating final arrangements to your creative team, and ensuring every detail is accounted for.

We supervise the creative team to ensure your vision gets translated into reality. We're there behind the scenes calmly and efficiently handling issues so you and your loved ones can celebrate! We quietly ensure everything goes as planned and according to schedule. We're there to be your extra pair of hands, your supporting arms, your always smiling friends.

Most of our clients are planning their weddings from afar, and we're well-versed in making that a seamless process using top-notch, collaborative online planning tools.

We're located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and because nearly all our clients are planning destination weddings, we frequently travel both domestically and abroad.

Over more than a decade of wedding planning, we've found an hourly retainer system gives couples the most flexibility and the best possible planning experience.
Do you plan other celebrations?
Born in Atlanta, GA, I’m a southern girl at heart, and hospitality and friendship is important to me. The bond I form with my couples throughout their planning journey is a special one, and I stay in touch with them for many years after, helping them celebrate each new stage in their lives and relationships.
Are you a planner or a florist?
I am, first and foremost, a stellar planner committed to applying my years of experience and specialized wedding planning knowledge to making your celebration an amazing one. I also come from a family of flower farmers, so I am excited to offer floral design services for intimate celebrations (under 100 guests); some of my designs even feature flowers I personally grow specially for my couples!
How much does planning cost?
We offer full-service planning to ensure our couples have the best experience and a typical planning investment with us costs $7000-$9000.
How many weddings do you plan each year?
Most of our couples begin planning with us a year to a year and a half in advance (and sometimes longer!), so in order to provide each JBD couple with the best possible experience, we only take 6-8 events each year. Our event work also includes planning large-scale international conferences for non-profit organizations, so our availability is limited.
